![]() You’ll notice that the key has been changed from B-minor to A-minor for this arrangement. Instead, through arranging this beautiful piece for solo guitar, I hoped to capture some of the atmosphere of Rodrigo’s music so that guitarists might be able to perform this remarkable piece as a solo. It’s worth noting that this arrangement does not attempt to convey the full complexity and nuance of the original concerto, as do to so in a solo context would be as technically demanding for the player as it would be unrewarding for the listener. I hope the fact that Rodrigo himself arranged the piece in such a way gives some validation for the approach that I have taken here, and it is my sincere hope that he might have approved of this arrangement for one guitar.
